Gallery: http://bit.ly/2V9h24l going through a kitchen remodel but have a growing family with three kids. Our reno is also fixing up our laundry room which is off the kitchen, so living without laundry and a kitchen was kinda out of the question.I got a few quotes from plumbers for installing temporary (or permanent) hookups for a washer and dishwasher in the basement, so we could continue with some normalcy during the remodel (we already had a plan for a fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and single plug-in burner upstairs, so we had basic cooking necessities covered). But their quotes were a bit higher than we could budget alongside the remodel, so DIY it is!I had always been scared of diving into plumbing projects worse than changing out a faucet, so going from never having sweated a copper joint to having done like 30 joints was a huge leap for me. Check out the album for progress pics and the whole story of this plumbing project. And see also links to the electrical work timelapse and a timelapse of the plumbing project. via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2ZOj0FP
