Hi. I'm a lurker, first-time redditor. For context, I'm in the Philippine market where buying AND selling a stock invokes the same taxes.
Going back to the title, I'm very fundamental because I believe more in it than technical (read the Intelligent Investor, which explains most of it) but I don't necessarily understand how it's better. Using dollar-cost averaging on the index makes sense but other than that, value stocks seem like it's more driven by market sentiment. How would I convince myself (from drifting to technicals) or others otherwise?
