Im so envious of others who have more privilege than me. Its hard to not resent those with present family, supportive parents, even people whose parents who can provide shelter rent free into adulthood. I want to let go of this but when I hear that someone is visiting parents for mothers day weekend or going to a cottage weekend with family all I can think is "wow must be nice...". I want to be happy with what i have but I tend to avoid people with better backgrounds.
