Wow, I can't believe this just happened. I used LKSFRS20 on footlocker.com for 20% off on $99 order. I used it on an Adidas ultraboost shoe that was $119.99. After the 20% discount, the shipping fee ($7.99) plus sales tax (10%), the total price was $114.38. I was charged $114.38 on my credit card on 5/20. I saved $26.40 with the coupon.
Guess what happened on the morning of 5/21... Footlocker.com charged me $26.40 in a new transaction. They basically canceled the coupon and charged me 20% more than the discount price I originally paid. They never contacted me about the coupon being voided. They never contacted me and told me there was a mistake and they are charging me extra.
I would have just voided the transaction if it was a coupon mistake on the company. No problem, I under these things happen. But to effectively cancel the coupon and secretly charge the customer the discounted amount the next day?
What a scumbag company.
