Okay, so like the title says, I’m trying to fix my back porch. Essentially, the base is made up of cinderblocks with wood on top of it. There is a roof overhead, with supports made of wood. Everything besides the porch and the steps are in good condition, but recently my porch and steps have rotted and became flimsy, with some holes starting in places I frequent.I am far from a handy man, but know enough to carpentry work and do a decent job.
