I'm currently unemployed. My lease currently is up for renewal. My rent is $2215/month which is inclusive of utilities for a one bedroom apartment with a den which I used a house office when I worked remotely in tech. My unemployment benefit is $507 each week.
I have to renew my lease by the 15th of this month. My lease ends in mid-July. However, I have been trying to find cheaper alternatives within my city but everywhere wants paystubs that I don't have. I highly doubt that I'll get a job before August, so at this point, I'm preparing to be homeless.
What resources or options can I pursue to avoid this fate?
