I have a spring loaded door that automatically closes. The door latch is sort of loose inside and therefore it's creating about 10 degrees angle which leads to the sliding mechanism not to slide well so the door doesn't properly close. If I turn the handle and push the door, it closes fine. If the door stays open due to not latching properly, and if I don't turn the handle, but push the door, it's possible to close the door, but I have to push really hard.I bought a door latch, and was planning to replace this thing. Before I destroy my door, I wanted to check with the community if there is a better and cleaner way to fix this problem. The pictures showing weird angle the latch creates due to it being loose:https://imgur.com/a/1rfPEzqThe hardware I bought to replace the latch (maybe you have a solution so I don't have to)https://imgur.com/a/uczPyOWThe video showing door automatically swings but doesn't shut completely:https://imgur.com/pFNG3rrThanks for your help! via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2LHIotM
