I'm 27 (so off my parents' insurance), unemployed, and I'm currently on medicaid. It takes 3-4 months to get a doctor's appointment on medicaid, and every time I see a doctor, they refuse to refer me to a therapist or psychiatrist. I can't afford to see one out of pocket. All the "sliding scale" places I've emailed don't respond. Even if I could make some money on the side, I can't afford like $100 a week for a long period of time.
My panic attacks won't stop and I'm constantly in a manic depressive state where I go from cleaning the entire house and breaking things in the garage just so I have something to fix/repair to sleeping for 18 hours a day, unable to eat or anything.
Can someone help me figure out my options?
