Firstly I'm sorry if I'm asking in the wrong place or if this is an easy situation, I've never really built anything myself so this is my first woodworking project.Basically I'm turning an old whiskey barrel into a cabinet. I'm pretty happy with the results so far but I'm wanting to add two Lazy Susans as shelves, one in the middle, and one at the base. The middle one is easy as I can just attach it using L Brackets to the insides of the barrel. But the problem I have is how to attach the other one to the base, because the base is slightly curved near the centre. Here's two pictures to give a visual reference:My crude drawing of the issueMy barrel for referenceThe curve isn't quite as drastic as my artistic rendering implies but its still enough to make anything that goes on top of it un-level. I want the shelf to be about level with the bottom of the door opening. I can't use L Brackets on this one as I wouldn't be able to reach underneath once the Lazy Susan is in, and I don't really want to screw anything into the outsides of the barrel.Any help or suggestions would be great, thanks! via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2VS8Xk5
