I'm planning on buying an F-150 and building a camper on the back of it (inspired by something like this)I'm finding some good used F-150's that fit a lot of my criteria. V8, 4x4, 4+ seats (this part is not mandatory, but preferred), decent mileage. The only problem is that they all have 6.5ft beds. The only 8ft beds I've found are at sketchy dealerships and only have 2 seats. I'm wondering if that extra 1.5ft is going to make a significant difference or if I would be fine with building on a 6.5ft bed?
