Ive been looking to shift a portion of my portfolio into MER-K. It pays a $0.40 dividend which is 6.21%. To me this seems like an excellent stable revenue stream which will lower my accounts volatility. Aside from a financial collapse such as we saw in 2008 it seems to keep stable around its $25 liquidation price as well.

Why arnt funds like these more popular?
