I'll be referencing this picture.I want to attach my 12v water pump to this Camelbak water bladder. This can be done easily with some rubber tubing, but I want to be able to remove and reattach the bladder and the pump with ease. The Camelbak outlet and the pump inlet are barbed, so it's not very easy to detach and reattach the the two when using a rubber tube alone. I tried one solution (you see in the picture) of using a coupling to fasten the two sides together. But this leaks and I would have to wrap it to reduce leaking - at which point it is no longer easily detachable. Is there a better solution out there for combining two barbed ends in a way that is easily detachable/reattachable?My next best solution that I can think of is using tubes with a slightly higher diameter so that they aren't extremely tight around the bladder outlet and pump inlet and use small metal hose clamps around the barbs to reduce leaking. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2CZGSg7
