I'm 32 with a steady job (greater NYC area), and things feel like they're getting a little more complicated. I'm making good money, with several 401k's, donate several thousand dollars a year to charity, and have begun to buy some physical assets. I feel like now is the time to get a financial adviser who can help me build my wealth a little more consistently, make educated investments, and overall start to make my money start to work for me.

I also am wary of being just another client/number, nor want to get taken advantage of. I don't know where to look or what to look for. Thanks in advance!
