I know I need to get a job again first of all, all of my previous work was general labor which is unfeasible now due to knee issues after a surgery ( birth defect in tendons that caused my knee cap to dislocate and wasn’t caught as a child) so I’ve been having trouble finding entry level work in a more suitable environment. I’m moving to live with family in a city with a much better selection of work so I anticipate having a job paying $11 - $14 an hour in less than 3 weeks. My aunts have offered to temporarily make payments on my car so it’s not repossessed and don’t expect rent from me until I have a job. My credit score has dropped 200ish points from 710 to 500 due to delinquent payments. What should I focus on, and how should I budget? Do I need to declare bankruptcy? No one has ever taught me about finances so assume I know nothing and if you need more information feel free to ask. Thank you for any help.
