Background: I just got a new KitchenAid brand one made of Acacia wood (https://www.amazon.com/KitchenAid-KKWRE1114AA-Acacia-Cutting-Board/dp/B07589RLV2). Upon opening, I gave it a quick wash, then covered in mineral oil per their instructions. The paper towels I used to pat it dry and then to oil got covered in brownish stains. Is this a wood stain rubbing off? Is this normal and food-safe? I'd never seen this before. Suggestions for your favorite product would be greatly appreciated.
