I had a very expensive medical bill a few years ago I set to $25/mo. auto withdrawal payments. I called the hospital billing department to update my address and they told me they offer an amnesty program for old accounts.
50% off my remaining balance if I pay in full. I received documentation from them via email and paid it over the phone. Saved $500!
Also it doesn’t matter if you have a high income you can still request your medical bill payment to be as low as $25/mo.
