As the title said, I'm using an old window sash to create something like this where an LED strip light is used to produce the light for a windowless bathroom. The strip light is rated for indoor/outdoor use, but I don't know if that applies to the power plug as well. I will need to run an extension cord from the strip light's plug to reach an outlet (the light's plug and cord itself will remain inside with window "box"). There is an exhaust fan in the bathroom, but will that be enough that I shouldn't need to worry about humidity causing any issues with the electrical components? via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2GkPPCy
