Friend went to school to be a teacher, financial aid covered all of her schooling up until she had to do her student teaching. The semester of student teaching is counted as a full time semester and they billed her nearly $5k which she doesn’t have, but she cant get her teaching certificate and start making money as a teacher until that bill is paid. Her credit union turned her down for a personal loan because apparently you cant get a personal loan for college bills.
