I submitted an application for an apartment last night and I’m worried that I may be denied. I’m active duty military renting in a market with thousands of service members and from others experience I hear most places will approve you regardless knowing we get a monthly allowance for housing. I’ve had credit history problems in the past resulting in my score being very low but I’ve been working on improving it slowly. If renting is anything like financing a vehicle then I feel like I may be out of luck.
