I posted on here about 6 months ago in a complete mess. I got a lot of good help thanks to some people and have made some moves to get my debt under control.

I've been able to bring my credit score up from a average of 410 to an average of 480 (using credit karma).

I am starting to get things under control and looking towards the future. I would like to buy my own place before too long, and in the long term, open a business. I know most places require a credit score of 580 for a housing loan (I am already saving up for a down payment).

If you guys don't mind, I'm going to recap my debts, where they are, and see if i can get advice on what to do next. I'll sort them by standing and amount.

Good Standing:

Car Loan - 5,517/8,167 left. In good standing, 5 recorded late payments out of 27, never more then 90 days late (I also lost my job and had cleared the late payments with the loan provider so that's kinda annoying but i get it).

MSFCU Credit Card - Maxed out at 2,500 BUT in good standing and regular minimum payments. I've only been late on 1 payment in 5 years.

Grey Standing:

Student Loans - 40,114/69,315. I recently (within the last 2 weeks) filed paperwork with both Nelnet and National Credit Services to secure minimal income-based payments on these for at least the next year. These two were the ones constantly reaching out to me. But looking back on credit karma, I see I have student loans through Nelnet, Great Lakes, and Ascendium. I don't see a trace of National Credit Services anywhere. Do I just call them, figure out which one they represent, and then call the third one and figure out where its at with them? Also, it says my Great Lakes Loan has been "closed due to transfer" but none of the other creditors equal that amount, even by combining them.

Bad Standing:

In the last couple months, 2 previously owed bills to Comcast have shown up, which I can get cleared up this week. 73 dollars each.

The one that truly confuses me though, is a 441 dollar credit card, that to be honest I ignored for over 2 years, and it just says "Account closed." it says that it went to collections, but then doesn't list a collections agency. (the original holder was the same as my car loan).

All this being said, where should I focus my time, and how can I pick up my credit score to start preparing for a future.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated again guys, you're all truly amazing. Even the snarky ones.
