Those of us aware of the importance of money are sometimes misread and understood as "cheap" people.
I do calculate what I spend, and out every penny in the right place; I mean I am not stingy, but I read prices, I chose to go regular restaurants, I drive a normal car.
Have you ever been through such experience were a friend or a relative interpreted your financial control behavior as "cheap" instead of frugal or thrifty?
