My husband surprised me for our anniversary where he saved up a thousand dollars (he's been working crazy overtime lately). He told me that our past five years of vacations have been staycations and this last one all I did was clean our apartment up and take calls from work. (I was going through some seasonal depression so i didn't do too much other than mope). So he wants to take me wherever I want. I just don't have any idea where to go. We live in coastal NC, is there any budget place y'all would recommend to check out?
