There are a lot of good things in the proposed legislation on the proposed SECURE Act (Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement Act of 2019). It expands the definition of compensation, allows contributions for those working pas age 70 1/2 (on par with 401(k) rules), and raises the age for RMDs to 72.

The bad news is it appears to do away with the stretch IRA option for inherited IRAs for non-spouse beneficiaries.
