Cross post (lmk if this is an issue as I’m new here). Some pictures as promised. First pic is just the screen basically. Forgive my poor camera lol. I had to leave my light on so that my camera could capture a bit of the whole setup. My room setup allows me to have a picture that is 7 feet even across. The second picture shows a door for size. Got the whole setup (BenQ MH630, JBL LX 44’s that are in near perfect condition, and the screen materials) for right around $300. My first upgrade will be adding adding a light grey layer to my screen to darken up the colors a little bit. I made the screen with some wood framing, two blackout curtains, a white sheet, and a bunch of staples. I actually am a huge fan of these speakers, so I’ll probably be leaving those alone except for some cosmetic updates. I am also looking into purchasing an Optoma UHD60 or some other comparable 4K projector eventually. It isn’t the prettiest setup, but I’m super happy with it as it is basically just in my man cave in my apartment. Beats the hell out of my 55 inch tv!http://bit.ly/2Us1umK via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2DgnKuj
