Hellow fellow redditorsI've just now turned my attention to the in-wall cabinet I have that has all my network cables going into different rooms of my apartment. There are 10 network and 5 TV cables and an electrical socket. The trouble is, it's quite narrow in both directions. Namely 17 cm wide and 22cm tall (of usable space). I got zyxel gs1100 network switch that just about fits into when mounting (the metal bar on top of the switch goes into the two screws in the middle of the cabinet, i just unmounted it). Now, I can make the network cables shorter by "pushing" them back to the hole they came out of (in the wall itself) but the trouble is the power adaptor (🔌) doesn't fit on top of the switch anymore when connected as its quite tall itself.I am looking for... Ideas basically what was the developer of the house thinking about how the wall should look like when everything is connected. And even when the network cables are connected, where would the TV antenna cables go as its really improbable to fit a second device there.Images: http://bit.ly/2ZHPLnU via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2Vt3os8
