Hello! I’m hoping for some ideas to make my husband’s birthday special, on a budget.
For some background, as newlyweds, so far we still have our own bank accounts and just work out how to equally split most of our shared expenses. Anything personal is still just a personal expense. I have been unemployed for much longer than anticipated, so I’m being careful about how I spend my money.
My sweet husband gave me a very generous gift for my birthday last week, and stressed that I do not need to reciprocate, or get him anything at all for his birthday next week. I do have a couple small gift ideas that are within my budget, but does anyone here have ideas on things I could do for cheap or free to help make his day a little more special? I already cook every day, so I could definitely do a “birthday dinner” but that wouldn’t be too out of the ordinary lol. Any ideas are appreciated!!
