Vanguard sent out its annual report on Friday for the Total Stock Market Index Fund, and while most of the report seems pretty generic something that caught my eye was the chart on page 6 where the ERs of the ETF (VTI) is set at 0.02% while that of the Admiral Fund (VTSAX) is at 0.04% with correspondingly different returns. This is even though the published ERs for the two funds are the same (see here for VTI, here for VTSAX). Anyone understand what's going on here and why the actual ER differed from the published ER?
