Hello /r/frugal,

I bought a new car in 2017 (not frugal, I know), and I'd like to do my best to maintain it without paying more than I have to. I live in a very large city but I don't have a family/friends I can as to recommend a shop. The dealer wants to charge $250+ dollars for a basic service, (tire rotation, checking filters and checking for rust, etc.). My owner's manual has a list of things that need to be done at each mileage milestone. What recommendations do you have to keep my car in tip top shape without sacrificing a ton of cash? It's a Kia Forte.
