I'm considering building a website which will be a central place to find frugal living ideas, for all possible categories, submitted by the community.

Example use cases would be:

- Let's say you have a bag full of old toilet paper rolls - you go on the website and search "toilet paper rolls" and you would find all the ways you could re-use them to save money.

- or you find yourself drinking a lot of tea and feel bad about throwing away all those old tea bags, so you search "tea bags" or go to the "kitchen" or "food" category and see if you can find something there.

- You have an old rusty gas grill outside and want to see how other people might have restored/upcycled theirs.

The different categories can obviously be endless, from recycling/upcycling, DIY, gardening, holidays/vacations, hobbies, outdoors etc and then there could always be a page/section where current specials/promotions of local stores are shown.

Being a frugaler myself I'll try and build the website to be as functional as possible while keeping costs low, but still it'll involve some costs for the server etc. Considering to start a patreon page with a very small tier of $1 just so that I don't have to pay for the costs out of my own pocket.

Lastly I think it would be great if there was some manner in which people who come up with or submit great ideas on being frugal could actually make a few bucks since they will pretty much be saving a lot of people money - would be nice if those people could see some money return their way.

Thoughts, ideas or scrutiny would be much appreciated.
What do you guys and gals think?
