Today in class we were going over Amortization tables. I ran the cost of interest on a 4% home loan (I think this is a humble acquisition). On an average $500,000 home (Standard in my town) People are paying roughly $360,000 in interest alone over 30 years. I'm 23. I would rather live out of a van than pay that much in interest.
