I have no college education an have been in the high school diploma only job market since I was 17 and I’ve lived all over the country. I’m now 26 and over the past 9 years I’ve literally watched jobs become more available and pay more. Around 2012 I had to have a roommate to pay rent and afford necessities, and now my full time job allows me to pay rent myself and have disposable income to buy more things I want. Of course that’s not the case everywhere. But from what I’ve seen a single person who is willing to work can put themselves in a much better financial position then they could’ve 10 years ago
