At our cabin we have a hill going down to flat land and eventually the river. It's maybe 80' from top to bottom, 30-40 degrees of angle, and wooded. We have a trail the previous owner used for the ATV, but it's not a permanent solution. It's mostly dirt soil and as it get's churned, then rained on it will eventually wash out.I'm looking for suggestions on how to fortify the trail and improve it. Dumping a load gravel on it will probably just result in a bunch of gravel at the bottom after the next rain. Or links to websites with suggestions, I've searched but everything I've found is about cutting trails on flat land or making motocross type of trails.Edit: looked at some measurements I made for a set of stairs and it's 80' via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2F92oz4
