I'm 19 and just finished up my GED. I have a job that pays about $20/hr and I'm living with my parents. My job is flexible and I can work any time of day as long as I get in 40-45hrs per week. I'm debating whether to go to a small local extension of the University of Wisconsin or to pursue a better education at a more prestigious institution. Would I be better off keeping my job and going to UW Eau Claire-Barron County for $6000 per year minus whatever grants I can qualify for or better off getting a degree with more earnings potential from a better more expensive school? I'm planning to pursue a degree in computer science.
