https://ift.tt/2UUH6vN almost done renovating my basement, a thought my wife and I had was to add a door to separate the basement area, primarily to keep the cats out when we have guests.The issue being there's a ventilation shaft that runs alongside a load bearing joist. And the doorway has an odd shape. The two walls on either side of the walkway also isn't straight, there's about an inch spacing if I run a straight wood across the two walls.Any ideas on how to add a door here?
