I am 48, single, no dependents, self-employed for 20 years. For 20 years, building this business has been my sole focus, my work is my passion and pure joy. If I won the lottery, this business would still be my dream. In the past few years, my business (S corp) has become profitable.

My business, finally, has no debt and a healthy reserve. Personally, finally, I have a 6 month EF. I have about $35,000 in a SEP IRA. I have a mortgage ($215,000 @ 4.5%). I have student loans ($110,000 @ 4.5%). No other debt - no cc's, no car payment. I could take a sizable distribution in 2019, $100,000+

I am inclined to take the distribution and pay off my student loans in full. I do have an appointment with a financial planner in the coming weeks and will not do anything prior to that meeting.

I welcome the advice of this forum and thank you all in advance!
