Here's what I'm looking for; I want to get an Excel spreadsheet setup that automatically updated various parts of my portfolio.
I.e. I can open the document and it will show the values of my stocks (p/e, PEG, p/b, etc), funds (list of their updated holdings), any links to current news about any of my stocks, current CAGR/total return/return (1/3/5 year), total risk of portfolio, diversification of holdings in the form of pie charts and such, etc you get the picture.
Everytime I open it will update itself with the latest available information (which means it will have to pull it from a database or from websites HTML code?)
I'm asking if; Is this possible? Is there a program available? Excel templates of what someone has done of this before?
If it's possible and no one's done it before then do I need another coding language to accomplish this?
