Open-source, hobbyist level electronics projects are sometimes only difficult because one has to go through a lot of to work collecting a large variety of individual components. I enjoy the hunt, but I imagine that some people do not.I’ve been interested in selling affordable DIY, components only, sub-assembled kits for a handful of open source projects.I’ve seen some links from open source projects to websites that sell kits which contain the necessary pcb and components to assemble it.Is it ethical to market sub-assembled kits for open source projects? Legal?I’m not looking to steal anyone’s work to make a buck.If I were to pursue this I would be interested in organizing a structured percentage of earnings to the “open source” to promote funding these sources of projects.Thoughts?Oregon via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2FiqXcK
