My son absolutely loves frozen yogurt, so I enjoy taking him and spending time with him. But it kills me that we can spend as much as a full meal on frozen yogurt at places like menchies or yogurt land. I realized that Costco serves frozen yogurt at 11 cents per ounce (serving size is 12 oz.) while other places usually cost 40-50 cents per ounce. That really adds up when your kid is combining flavors and adding all the toppings he wants.
Costco only serves chocolate and vanilla, so to add some flavor variety, we bring our own toppings, like candy and chocolate syrup, and sometimes we get the berry Sunday. It has really helped my monthly budget for eating out, and we still get our frozen yogurt.
