Frugal /= cheap, but how do you find quality products that will last years for a good price? I spent $50 at a dept store on what I thought were quality pants only to have the button break and seam come undone within two months. Then I bought two pants for $15 at a thrift store and no problems after four months. If we can't use store or brand name to determine quality (especially for clothes), how do we approach shopping frugally?
