I've read many discussions on drafting pencils here and I'm looking into getting one of my own, but I am not sure which one has more "bifl" value. I know that the Pentel GraphGear, Twisterase, and 205 are all more affordable (and I have enough trouble trying to decide between these alone, especially the value packs); but I wonder if it is worth the extra money to get a rOtring. There's one currently on sale on Amazon, but I don't want to spend $18 on a pencil when I can get a Pentel value pack for less.
If any of you have experience with both brands, which do you like better and why? Am I overlooking an equally or even more quality brand? I've heard things about Zebra and other brands, but Pentel and rOtring were the big two.
