My husband and I have been split up for a little over a year. I recently checked my credit report & noticed that under my accounts section I am listed as "authorized user" on 3 credit cards that were in my husbands name. All 3 of these cards have since been closed & are at 50% or more of the accounts limit. I recall my husband making me authorized user in that case of something happening (pre-marriage) & I have asked him to remove me as authorized user from all (he's working on it he said).
This seems to be impacting my credit score so I am wondering if him removing me will remove it from my credit & make a difference.
