I have just gotten around to finishing the basement in the house we had built 2 years ago. Basement was studded and insulated at time of construction completion as per code in our area. Just started doing the rough in electrical and noticed considerable frost on the above grade portion of the foundation walls behind the vapor barrier and insulation. My question is what would best prevent moisture build up behind the dry wall I will install? I’ve though about just spray foaming the above grade portion of the foundation or do you guys think the bat insulation and drywall will help prevent this? Also should I use vapor barrier??? I’ve seen pros and cons on either side of this. via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2D0ZWtm
