I have a small, low traffic area of my house that I am replacing the tile. At Home Depot, the lady was asking if we wanted to use the 24" x 24" ceramic tiles and not use grout. At the time, I was planning on doing the 12"x 12" ceramic tiles with grout so I stuck with them. Now that I've gotten them home I cant help but think it would look much nicer without the grout.I dont particularly want to exchange the tiles(this size allows me to do the whole job without any cuts). When researching if this is plausible, everything is saying you NEVER tile without grout. Not only did the person mention it, I know Ive seen it done before(especially with tile countertops). I also know that just because its been done before doesnt mean that its a good idea or will last but I am at least trying to gather info on the option.TL;DR Has anyone ever tiled without grout? Tips? Tricks? Words of caution? via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2E9qNoU
