They have nearly a 7% dividend yield and a long track record of consistent payouts and dividend increases.
They do have a lot of debt, but that includes recent acquisitions of Time Warner and DIRECTV, both of which make them much more dominant as a company. They’re #1 or #2 in pretty much every industry they compete in.
I find it hard to believe that they’ll be going out of business any time soon and a 6.8% dividend is just crazy (but maybe too crazy). Thoughts?
