Does anyone know of an online calculator that will break down how my student loan balance will change over time that will allow me to put in my own payment amount?
I've found the BankRate one that gives an amortization schedule, but it doesn't let me play with numbers as much as I want. I can only put in my loan amount, interest rate and loan terms, and it decides the payment.
I've also seen the prepayment calculators that help you see how paying extra can change your interest and how long it takes, but none that I've found break it down monthly like I'm wanting.
