So i am thinking about purchasing an ‘08 Ford f-250 lariat from carmax. I currently drive a nissan versa, which insurance for it is ~ $85-90 a month. The asking price for the truck is $28,998.
Now I have two options. In 4 months I am graduating high school. A savings account will be unclocked that has about $10-13,000 in it. I am going to be joing the military after a year or more of college or right out of high school.
If I put my full $13,000 down on it drops the layment down to ~$270. Right now i make about $250 every two weeks. Considering all unexpected costs, moving the car across country which is about $800 and gas and insurance , could I afford this truck?
