I thought I'd check in and see if anyone had any recs, particularly as crock pot itself is getting a bad rap. Old one from the thrift store elsewhere kicked the bucket. People always respond "thrift stores", but where we live now thrift stores are "cool" boutiques with books with pretty covers displayed in rainbow order. I could find things brand new on sale cheaper than going to thrift.
