New poster, so hope this is appropriate. Recently divorced, gave almost all retirement and savings to keep my house. Autistic grown son in college and paying half his tuition. 17year old daughter and getting child support for her. Barely making it paycheck to paycheck after having to take out personal loans to pay for divorce fees, multiple home crises (new refrigerator after old one died, etc). 74 year old mom lives with me, helps with what she can. Feeling like a refinance to consolidate bills (car, personal loan, last few home repairs) might alleviate this?
