Hey all! I live in an apt. in NYC and deal with absolutely awful dry heat from about October to May. I have gone through so many fans and humidifiers in the few years I've lived here. I've spent between $50 - $100 each time on what I believed were trusted brands only to have them fail over the course of one winter. This winter I haven't repurchased either of these items because I'm so frustrated with wasting my money - but I wake up every morning with a bloody nose and parched throat and I can't take it anymore. I'm willing to spend $100 or more on both items if they truly last. I've been searching and searching and all the reviews I read are abysmal. Open to any and all suggestions and I will gladly provide more details if needed! Thanks everyone!
