Hi, I'm trying to replace the little clips where the red and black wires are fed into. One of the clips broke off while I was moving ages ago and I'm trying to fix it now. I've got the replacement part ready and speaker wire on it's way here if necessary. The real issue is that the screw head is stripped, and while I was able to loosen the screw and nut from the inside with some locking pliers, now when I hold the head in place and twist the nut, it will spin but won't get any looser. The screw is already stripped and the part I'm replacing is useless so destructive methods of removal are fine as long as they don't damage the rest of the speaker. My next problem is that the wires connecting the terminal to the rest of the speaker are fused to the current connector. I was thinking I would just clip them off near the end then strip them a bit to attach to the new connector. I could add a tiny bit of extra wiring if necessary. Here's some pics:http://bit.ly/2TLn1rb got the nut off, just not sure what to do about the fused wires now. via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2It92oX
